When David Bowie recently passed away there was an outpouring of support and many moving tributes. His solo career and work with other famous artists spans generations.

Bowie and Freddie Mercury have collaborated on quite a few projects, the most famous is arguably “Under Pressure” from the 1982 Queen album Hot Space. Years before auto-tune and recycled, cookie-cutter music formulas musicians had to have real talent to make their work stand out.

In this clip we have David Bowie and Freddie Mercury along with Queen in a vocals only track. All other music was removed and the vocal tracks were isolated to showcase the amazing talent and vocal range. I could imagine if we took away auto-tune and the music bed from some of today’s stars, we would not find something this beautiful. It’s a song you have heard a thousand times, but never like this.
