Mike Rowe And The Rat Hunting Dogs Of New York.

“Unlike anything I’ve ever seen”

On a cold winter night Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs fame spent the evening with the rat hunting dogs of New York. He described it as “unlike anything I’ve ever seen”. These dogs and their owners look just like ordinary neighbors. Yet when night falls the group known as RATS come out to control the rat population. The weapon of choice? A dog, a terrier to be precise.

In a few hours they can destroy hundreds of rats. While it may not seem like many, they have also included researchers from academia who are trying to understand the rat problem in New York. Let’s hope they don’t find this guy, he’s just a rat bro. Watch the clip and see what these average citizens are doing to take back their neighborhood.
