Setting A Pool On Fire And Putting It Out With Liquid Nitrogen.
Setting your pool on fire.
Setting your pool on fire might not be the safest thing to do but when you are the backyard scientist a plan is always in the works. He begins this experiment by pouring Diethyl Ether a highly flammable solvent into the pool. It floats along the surface of the water as it burns. Next gallons of Liquid Nitrogen are poured into the pool to extinguish the flames in a visual masterpiece.
Add in a little dry ice.
Our budding scientist doesn’t stop there though, he also drops in a bag of dry ice to see the amazing reaction. This isn’t the first time our favorite science guy has used dry ice or liquid nitrogen. Check out the video below and see the whole thing in action.
