Hungry? But only have a log and a chainsaw? Imgur user Trampymatt has shown how to fix your problem with a cool log stove top. This is a fun way of cooking at home or at the campsite. All you will need is a log, some newspaper and of course the food for cooking. Lets take a look and see how this all works.

Next he adds the paper to the cuts and pushes it down into the grooves. This doesn’t look too difficult. I can smell dinner already.

 

 

We can see the paper all the way down to the bottom of the log. We want to make sure its down there as fire of course likes to burn up. Do we get to cook yet?

 

 

I think I see a spark down there. We have to be getting close. Nice cuts by the way. Even for maximum airflow and heat. I’m ready to get cooking.

Must have potatoes in a camp stove cookout. Toss them in and let them simmer. Our log seems to be holding up nicely as well. Good flame and temperature.

 

 

Onions too, this is turning out to be a feast. That log is really cooking. Cant wait to see what the finished product looks like. That stove is putting out some major heat.

 

 

Looks like meats back on the menu boys. Our homemade log stove top performed wonderfully and the log is still going strong. Might have time to cook a few deserts too. Time to eat!
